Seven states are participating in this exciting initiative. They are Virginia, Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. The collaborative has formulated the following vision and mission statements:
VISION - Promote Collaborative Leadership in order to achieve policy and systems change that maximizes the public’s health (draft)
MISSION – Increase capacity of collaborative leadership across sectors and at all levels (draft)
Participating states have agreed that the promotion of Collaborative Leadership across sectors at the national, state, and local level is our primary goal. We will work through a variety of assessment, development and demonstrate value/advocacy activities that assess current capacity, identify best practices and models, and bridge gaps. Our collaborative will strive to deliver quality products at the cutting edge of technology in order to add value and leverage additional resources.
