The Asian Pacific Islander (API) Caucus of the American Public Health Association invites abstracts for papers that address the theme of the 2001 Annual Meeting, "One World: Global Health" for the 2001 Annual Meeting. We encourage submissions that address the impact of globalization on the health and well being of API communitites. The API Caucus is interested in research and data on the physical, social, and environmental aspects of Asian American and Pacific Islander health. This includes work that assists in the identification of public health priorities, development of effective models of community organization and intervention, and relevant assessment and evaluation approaches for diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Please note that you do not have to be a member of APHA or an API Caucus member to submit an abstract. However, if your abstract is accepted for presentation you must register for the meeting and become a member of APHA in order to present at the meeting.
