Happiness is Proving Programs Keep Children Healthy
This sesssion will address several safe school issues, including ways to prevent bullying, ways to keep drugs out of the school environment, and enhancing youth mental health, enhancement of the sense of youth well-being by maintaining a caring atmosphere, and demonstrating the effects of the African-American faith community on youth cardiovascular health behaviors.
Learning Objectives: Those attending this ssession will be able to 1. review several studies that address safe school environments, 2. examine issues related mental health of school children, and 3. consider the prospects that the African-American faith community can have an impact on youth cardiovasular behaviors.
