Research Foundations for Practice
Papers in this session present research findings from projects exploring/addressing the health of vulnerable populations, including maternal/child health, homeless women, rural smokers and others. Content will focus on models, methods, and findings from discriptive studies and from various interventions.
Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss models as a conceptual framework for behavioral and biobehavioral intervention research 2. List methodological issues in population-based research 3. Describe variables associated with health research in vulnerable populations
