The W.K. Kellogg Community Health Scholars Program: Community-Based Research Projects (Restricted to Scholars)
The W.K. Kellogg Community Health Scholars program (CHSP) is a post-doctoral fellowship program whose goal is to increase the number of faculty at health professional schools who possess the capacity to carry out community-based participatory research (CBPR) and teaching and who understand determinants of community health and how to build the capacity of communities, health-related agencies and academic centers to function as equal partners in community-based research, service and education. This session will spotlight several Community Health Scholar projects.
Learning Objectives: Participants in this program will 1. Learn about current scholar projects within the W.K. Kellogg Community Health Scholars program 2. Develop awareness of the skills necessary for creating and implementing a community-based participatory research project
