Built Environment Institute X: Housing Quality and Environmental Justice Issues in the Built Environment
This session will discuss housing quality as a determinant of health including policy solutions, hazards assessment, public housing redevelopment impact, training, and challenges faced with building healthy homes in environmental justice areas.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this session, participants will gain a better understanding of some of the housing quality issues facing healthy homes development; learn about effective tools for hazards assessment in housing; and gain a deeper understanding of the relationship between the built environment and environmental justice.
