This presentation will provide an overview of the health literacy concept and its relevance for health professionals. It will explain what health literacy is and why it is so important for understanding health outcomes. It will provide information about who is affected by low or limited health literacy. It will provide strategies and action steps that health professionals can take to improve health literacy.
