| This session includes presentations on current student research. Topics include physicians' teaching of testicular self-examination, demographic patterns of stage at diagnosis and survival for ovarian cancer, effectiveness of faith-based screening of obesity, and investigation of energy balance and weight maintenance of college males. | |||
| Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participant (learner) will be able to: 1. Identify barriers to teaching testicular self-examination.; 2. Assess the effects of not receiving routine health care on diagnosis and prognosis of ovarian cancer.; 3. List benefits of a faith-based screening program.; and 4. Apply ideas about healthy eating and physical activity to obesity prevention programming for college males. | |||
