Identifying and Addressing Ethnic and Racial Disparities
Learning Objectives: 1. Assess treatment differentials in statin use by ethnicity; 2. Identify systematic processes of addressing major health and non-health factors that limit provision and utilization of health services; 3. Understand the impact of residential segregation on disparities in utilization; 4. Describe the burden of high blood pressure and the use of blood pressure-lowering medications among California’s adult population; 5. Understand modeling techniques with the dependent variables being count variables.
