My talk will involve a response to the papers given by Dorr and Lombardo that incorporates examples from my own research on Latinas and reproductive health and control, specifically on the forced sterilization of Chicanas in southern California in the 1970s, and subsequent struggles to obtain access and attain equity in reproductive health.
Learning Objectives: The purpose is to provide historical analysis to remind of us past abuses and inform current work about reproductive rights. Organized by Alexandra M.
