Foot and ankle overuse injuries in standardized exercise programs

A common problem with people starting exercise programs is the occurrence of overuse injuries. Because most exercise programs involve weight bearing, foot and ankle injuries are commonplace. The authors have developed criteria by which these injuries can be prevented based on education of the patient and the fitness center staff.
