This presentation will provide a macro overview of the NPHPSP and highlight new Version 2 release; and discuss how they have incorporated language into legislation for state health improvement planning and used the NPHPSP and state-level MAPP activities in response to this legislation.

Learning Objectives:

• Discuss the updated components of Version 2.
• Describe how NPHPSP assessment can lead to state health improvement plans.
• Identify the opportunities provided by the NPHPSP to drive public health policy at the national, state, and local levels.
