Abstract #166820

Martha Livingston, PhD, Associate Professor of Health and Society, SUNY College at Old Westbury, Box 210, Old Westbury, NY 11568, (516) 876-2748, livingstonm@oldwestbury.edu

When Yeats wrote "The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity," he could have

been talking about the current political situation: from Iraq to health-care reform, the worst are still in power, and opposition is timorous at best. Here we will review health care reform politics, and propose (and discuss) next steps toward real health-care justice.
