This session will highlight the potential implications of credentialing Graduates of CEPH accredited Schools of Public Health and Graduate Public Health Programs for recruitment, training, and retention at a state department of health. The session will also describe ways that this effort may help improve public health system performance through linkages with the National Public Health Performance Standards Program.

Learning Objectives:

• Describe the potential and perceived impact of this effort on public health recruitment, training, retention as well as public health system performance at a state level.
