| This session will present new data about the California Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) program which takes a close look at Hispanic fatalities. The session will additionally discuss the medical costs and sources of payment for work-related injuries among Hispanic construction workers. Lastly, this session will discuss the occupational health needs of vulnerable populations, including Hispanic hotel housekeepers. | ||||
| Learning Objectives: 1. List the industries and occupations that had the most occupational fatalities for foreign-born Hispanic workers 2. Provide health and health services information on Hispanic construction workers 3. Identify demographic characteristics associated with increased risk of workplace injury in hotels | ||||
