| In order to address, both theoretically and methodologically, the diverse and changing health conditions affecting immigrant and refugee populations worldwide, health interventions have become increasingly complex, multi-level and varied. Papers in this panel address this diversity by proposing interdisciplinary research interventions that focus on HIV prevention and contraception, childcare, lead poisoning and medical pluralism. By the end of the session participants will be able to identify: 1) three intervention approaches aimed at recruiting hard-to-reach populations; 2) two effective interventions focused on reducing risk factors among immigrants and refugees. | ||||
