Vulnerable Populations
The session on vulnerable populations focuses attention on public health nursing interventions and human rights considerations in diverse groups of persons. Implications for PHN practice, education and research are discussed.
Learning Objectives: 1.Examine the tension between moral dissent and professional ethics. 2.Analyze the connection between vulnerable populations and human rights. 3.Discuss strategies for incorporating study findings into health promotion intervention planning.
