| Join us for an exciting and informative session that shares strategies that promote healthy nutrition through technology. The presenters will enlighten us on how technology can be used to advance nutritional knowledge of consumers that promote positive behavior change. Areas of focus are middle school nutrition curriculum, childhood obesity, healthy parent-child feeding behaviors and fruit and vegetable consumption. If you are interested in application of innovative technology to enhance food and nutritional programs, this is a session you will not want to miss. | ||||
| Learning Objectives: 1) Identify the strategies for interactive, engaging and culturally sensitive nutrition education. 2) Discuss opportunities and challenges to leveraging e-health for obesity prevention and treatment. 3) Determine the impact an internet-based approach can have on parent-child feeding behavior intent among WIC clients. 4) Design appropriate community based intervention strategies aimed at increasing fruit and vegetable consumption. | ||||
