| In a globalized economy, trade policy can have an impact on the provision of health services, disease risk factors, health promoting economic and social conditions, the natural environment, democracy and civil society institutions. This session will focus on scientific studies and policy analyses that examine the relationship between trade policies and health status. Studies of the impact of global trade and trade policies on health identify key areas of intervention for public health professionals. | ||||
