| This session brings together topics about Alternative and Complimentary Health Practices (ACHP) among underrepresented groups. Authors will be discussing details about CAM use among women and minority populations such as: 1) Comparing clinical outcomes of herbal remedies for treating diabetes in Hispanic women; 2) Evaluating differences between women and men in the effectiveness of Qigong-based therapies; 3) Characterizing risks of CAM use among older African-Americans; 4) Determining healthcare disparities in CAM use among minority groups. Please join us for lively discussions around the topic of women and minority health issues related to Alternative and Complementary Health Practices. | ||||
