| This workshop will discuss two approaches to providing distance learning training, i.e., the Community Teams Program and the Health Policy Program. Additionally, discussions will focus on an interactive computer-based laboratory safety training program for high school and college students. Further, the workshop will include a normative training model for physician or business executives in which ethics, values, and meaning are stressed. | ||||
| Learning Objectives: Participants should be able to: Describe two distinct approaches to distance education for the public health workforce. Describe how computer-based laboratory safety training can effectively deliver laboratory safety knowledge and skills in an interesting manner. Identify a stronger model for instituting ethics, values and meaning in medical academic settings, field research and health care administration and management. | ||||
