Financial Risk in the Health Care Industry: Emerging Models for Financial Risk Management
Highlights include identifying trends and predictors of financial performance for community health centers, evaluation of Israel’s public general hospitals, and evaluation of financial risks of not-for-profit hospitals.
Learning Objectives: Participants should be able to: Discuss the administrative implications of managing provider productivity and encounter costs. Recognize improved quality of medical care and budgetary constraints used in an evaluation model designed to evaluate Israel’s public general hospitals. Assess the financial risk of not-for-profit hospitals through examination of the market, operations, and organizational factors.
