Protecting our People: Disaster Response and Preparedness for African-Americans
This session aims to identify different responses disaster like natural occurences, international terrorism, and other issues like disease pandemics or war and conflict.
Learning Objectives: Learn about community level response to natural disaster. Identify how to reach vulnerable populations in an emergency. Discuss creating emergency responses for African-Americans. Identify factors associated with preparedness behavior.
