| This panel will address various aspects of international public health education. These will include administrative and curricular aspects of setting up a successful public health degree program. It will also discuss culturally specific adaptations of MPH education. This session will summarize the panel presentations and implications for global public health education. It will also discuss how this approach affects the human resource situation of less developed settings relative to more developed areas. | ||||
| Learning Objectives: Recognize core components of an international public health program. Recognize the pitfalls and opportunities for starting public health education institutes in developing settings . Assess quality of international public health programs. Recognize the differences between programs and how the local environment helps shape the public health curriculum. | ||||
