Unintentional Injuries
Six oral presentations are included in this session on unintentional injuries, highlighting research on topics that include a range of unintentional injury types and a number of different populations and settings.
Learning Objectives: 1. Describe stair-related injuries among infants in the U.S. 2. Describe how hours of sleep related to injury risk among rural adolescents. 3. Describe injuries to preschool children and compliance to injury prevention rules. 4. Describe the magnitude and nature of bicycle-related injuries among children. 5. Identify risks for agricultural injuries among children and opportunities for prevention.
