| This section includes presentations examining various aspects regarding sexual and reproductive health. Presentations will discuss barriers for physicians regarding the HPV vaccine; the effect of an educational intervention to increase physician knowledge about HPV vaccination; the successes and challenges of implementing a statewide folic acid education and vitamin distribution project; and relationships between abstinence education and comprehensive curriculum content. | ||||
| Learning Objectives: At the end of the session, the participant will be able to: (1) Determine the effectiveness of an HPV vaccination educational program for physicians; (2) Identify strategies for implementing a statewide education and distribution campaign; (3) Identify risk factors associated with pregnancy outcomes; (4) Understand of the current debate between abstinence and comprehensive sexuality education. | ||||
