| Health education and health promotion is a broad term which incorporates planning, implementing, and evaluation many types of interventions. This session will discuss health education/health promotion programs targeting diabetes, the process of passing a health policy, factors associated with the intent to call 9-1-1, where and how communication can be used to impact smoking behaviors of adolescents, and a theoretical model of walking duration. | ||||
| Learning Objectives: At the end of the session, the participant will be able to: 1. Identify new strategic techniques to implement health education and health promotion programs. 2. Describe theorectical and policial models for sucessful interventions. | ||||
