Public Health Nursing Research II
The Public Health Nursing Research II session focuses on research with disadvantaged, marginalized communities. Attention will be paid to research ethics, community based participatory research, health and human rights, and social justice.
Learning Objectives: 1.Analyze social justice as a model for civil rights improvements for health 2.Apply human rights to the domestic public health context 3.Recognize relationships between human rights and civil rights; 4.Identify ethical considerations in research and informed consent within disadvantaged/minority/marginalized communities 5.Understand the importance of flexibility in CBPR design and implementation
