Late Breaking Developments in Public Health
During this session six specialists in various aspects of public health will present updates on important developments in infectious and chronic disease, international health, children's health insurance, and public health responses to crises, including Hurricane Katrina, the situation in Darfur, and the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center.
Learning Objectives: By the end of this session, attendees will be able to describe these recent developments in important public health matters and how public health workers are appropriately responding to them.
