This program was created to receive late breaker abstracts using the on-line system. The following APHA program is accepting late breaker submissions: Health Administration The Health Administration Section is requesting additional abstracts to complete several sessions for its 2008 program for the 136th American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and Exposition to be held in San Diego, CA, October 25-29th. Abstracts are being recruited for the following sessions: Posters 1) Innovative Strategies to Assure Access to Health Care 2) Student Perspectives on Global Challenges for Future Health Professionals 3) Organizational Improvement Through Creative Strategic Planning Oral Sessions 1) Models of Successful Academic/Practice Partnerships to Enhance Student Experiences in Health Administration 2) Promising Practices in Responding to Technology Challenges for Health Care Administrators 3) Improving the Health of Communities Through Public Health System Research 4) Lessons Learned form History on Administration and Leadership Practices in Public Health 5) Critical Issues in Public Health Funding Due date for abstract submission is Friday, May 23, 2008. Please Note: Presenting authors of an accepted abstract must become an APHA member and must also register for the Annual Meeting.
