Sylvia Guendelman, PhD, LCSW , School of Public Health, University of Carlifornia Berkeley, Berkeley, CA
In the past year, the Health and Immigration Consortium, a partnership between UCSF Global Health Services, UC Berkeley School of Public Health and the Health Initiative of the Americas, has convened diverse groups of stakeholders from California and Mexico to identify information gaps in research and policy formulation that address the health needs of Mexican immigrants in California over the next decade. In this session we will present the results of the assessments conducted through townhall meetings and roundtable discussions.

Learning Objectives:
1. Describe the main unanswered research issues that academic researchers should address, as identified by policy makers, leaders from community organizations, health care providers including "promotoras" and researchers. 2. Compare and contrast the responses across stakeholder groups and 3. Discuss ways in which the research community can be more responsive to the information requests of diverse stakeholders.
