Biographical Sketch: Dr. Carabin an infectious disease epidemiologist with undergrad training in veterinary medicine. Her main interest is in using state of the are epidemiological and biostatistical methods to study the epidemiology of zoonotic infections, mostly in the developing world. She is now the PI on two NIH research projects on neurocysticercosis in South Africa and Burkina Faso.
