This session will feature national leaders in the field of prevention of behavioral health disorders.
Session Objectives: Learners will be able to discuss factors that can facilitate/impede community outreach efforts, describe a framework for evaluating community outreach efforts, discuss strategies for engaging community stakeholders, and identify 2-3 potential sectors outside of the mental health field with which to collaborate in creating momentum for a primary prevention approach to behavioral health issues.
