This session will focus on health promotion and expanding access to chiropractic care nationally and internationally and the challenges inherent in that endeavor. There will be a presentation on developing a Masters Degree in health promotion and a presentation on expanding prevention practices in teaching clinics.
Session Objectives: 1. Become familiar with evidence based preventive screenings relevant to chiropractic practice 2. Understand strategies on how to develop a curriculum for a masters degree in health promotion. 3. Recognize and evaluate the need to assist and educate national and local health officials on public health issues in 3rd world countries
