Business Meeting
Our business meeting is open to everyone interested in the Genomics Forum. The purpose is to review the accomplishments of the past year and set objectives for the Forum as it enters its second year. With a focus on discussion, the meeting will also provide a good opportunity for networking and interacting with other professionals interested and working in the area of genomics and public health. Proposed Agenda 1. Introductions and Forum overview - 20 minutes 2. Award winners’ presentations – 10 minutes 3. Leadership - 10 minutes 4. Committees - Small group discussions - 25 minutes Program Special Projects Membership/Communications Policy 5. Committees representative presentations - 10 minutes 6. Large group discussion and conclusions - 15 minutes 7. End of business meeting.
Session Objectives: By the end of the meeting, attendees will have: 1. Reviewed the Forum’s achievements and identified areas for improvement 2. Identified specific objectives for the 08-09 year 3. Set strategies to meet objectives 4. Met with others in the field of genomics and public health
