This session explores the the role of Health-Promoting Universities (HPUs)in improving conditions of health and well-being.
Session Objectives: * Describe the concept of Health Promotion Strategies and the importance of their implementation in the academic setting. * Describe the experience with the development of Health-Promoting Universities (HPU) and the Network of HPU. * Discuss the importance of school-based entertainment-education to promote key hygienic practices that will decrease water-borne diseases.
