As public health continues to be on the forefront of health provision for more and more families, its workforce needs are becoming increasingly complex. This session will identify steps to assessing the skills needed by public health staff to achieve health equity.
Session Objectives: At the end of this session, participants will be better able to: • Discuss the current thinking about how this work contributes to and supports the Sustainable Community System Change framework and how it will be evaluated. • Describe a best practice-fostering state alliances to diversify the health workforce. • Describe a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of an online training program.
