NACCHO will provide a overview of the local public health workforce, as it relates to the core components of MCH; highlight key themes driving NACCHO's work to support local health department (LHD) MCH programs; and identify national – level activities and partnerships that aim to better understand and respond to the local public health workforce that is responsible for advancing positive health outcomes for women, children, adolescents and families.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have helped lead NACCHO's understanding of how the economic downturn and budget cuts in local health departments (LHDs) has impacted maternal, child, and adolescent health (MCAH) programs and services. I also support NACCHO's MCAH project by assessing the status of LHD MCAH capacity and training needs and tailoring NACCHO's programs accordingly.
