It is estimated that approximately 13.5 million of the people currently living in the United States have been homeless at some point in their lives. Homelessness does not just happen to a certain individual or a specific population. Homelessness can happen to anyone. FOLLOW FRED's story as it will dispel myths and highlight truths on the issue of homelessness. The primary objective of this video is to recognize that homelessness continues to be a public health issue. This video includes the range of personal, social, economic, environmental, and health factors that influence homelessness. We hope this video will empower the public to acknowledge that homelessness is preventable, and within public health, there are ways to spread and ensure wellness for all.
