Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: As a public health social worker, I have worked to build expertise in conducting research from a practitioner’s perspective to address mental health disparities in urban communities. Currently, I manage an NIMH-funded depression prevention community trial. I have focused on working with mothers with high rates of depression and anxiety through direct service, research, and statewide policy initiatives. My goal is to increase the well-being of women and children through public health initiatives.
