This session focuses on the development and implementation of health promotion/disease prevention programs developed as the result of academic-community partnership. These programs were developed for at-risk adolescents, to provide placements for graduate and undergraduate students, and to address the preconception health status of childbearing women.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe the activities of the academic-community partnerships identified in the presentations. 2. Assess the success of the intervention by the academic-community partnership.
