The speaker will define community organizing principles and share strategies, best practices, and skills for engaging youth in policy change efforts. The speaker will also describe different levels of youth-adult collaboration to achieve policy change goals.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have supported youth to engage in policy change efforts for 13 years. As Senior Trainer and Manager at Health Resources in Action, I have provided trainings, coaching and technical assistance to hundreds of youth and adults to achieve public health outcomes at the local and state level in Massachusetts and beyond. Prior, as Executive Director of the Boston-area Youth Organizing Project, I supported youth from low-income, communities of color to win policy change victories.
