This presentation will describe strategy and tactics used to advance the Prevention and Wellness Trust Fund through the Massachusetts legislature, including the roles of the legislative sponsors, legislative leadership, and advocacy groups. The presentation will include a discussion about the messaging and communications used to engage each of these audiences.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives representing Winchester and Stoneham. I serve as Vice Chair of the Committee on Public Health and Chair of the Prevention for Health Caucus, along with Senator Harriette Chandler. Together with Sen. Chandler, I was the lead sponsor on legislation that created the Prevention and Wellness Trust Fund.
