Biographical Sketch: Katrina Ellis is a second year PhD student in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Prior to beginning her doctoral program, she completed masters degrees in Social Work and in Public Health at Michigan. Her research interests include social and cultural influences on the health of African American families, especially those affected by cancer.
