The author will use the 2011 release of the County Health Rankings as a case study for conducting a communications campaign to increase awareness of the factors that affect health and to spark action among audiences including media, policymakers and other city/county/and state leaders.

I have 25 years experience in developing and delivering high-impact communications, marketing and policy change strategies aimed at improving people's health. I will be presenting a case study on the County Health Rankings, a RWJF project; I have led the media, web, and policy outreach strategy for the Rankings since its inception in 2010
