Illinois favors a vigorous implementation of the ACA and anticipates the defeat of litigation challenging the law. Controlling health care costs by improving the health of the population is essential to economic recovery and a sustainable state budget. ACA offers important new tools for states to utilize.

I direct the work of several state agencies coordinate efforts with dozens of advocates and stakeholders related to ACA.
