In setting the stage for the entire conference, this session will focus on the historical context for health reform to transform our nation’s health system with a renewed emphasis on prevention and wellness through a population based focus. The session will also define the most current challenges in implementing the provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and improving health outcomes in communities across the country.
