The Affordable Care Act requires the Department of Health and Human Services to improve the quality of health services delivered throughout our health care and public health systems. This session will look at the many ways the broad quality enterprise can be used to ensure accountability, enhance clinical safety, enhance system performance and increase quality improvement over time. The focus will be on the enhancement of a dynamic quality framework to strengthen population based and public health systems.
