The East Side Village Health Worker Partnership is a community-based participatory research and intervention effort that uses a lay health advisor model to address social determinants of health on Detroit's east side. This presentation will focus on one component of a participatory research and intervention effort, sharing results from analyses with participants and discussing implications for the work of the Partnership. In this presentation, we will describe a discussion based on sharing results from analysis from a community-based survey and in-depth interviews with Village Health Workers focused on relationships among spirituality, religion and health. Issues raised during the ensuing discussion included representation of community members to external audiences, as well as discussions about the implications and interpretations of the research findings. Lessons learned and implications for community-based participatory research will be discussed.

Learning Objectives: 1. Discuss various means of sharing results of community-based participatory research with participants 2. Identify issues to consider when presenting research results to external audiences
