The steps in integrating a service learning experience into the community will be identified and discussed. Assessment, planning in partnership, implementation and evaluation of the service learning experience will be addressed. Exemplars of selected community health student interventions and outcomes will be described. Recent and long term benefits to the community, community agencies and students will be identified
